In this role, you will support this facility's mission to deliver precise, safe, and efficient cardiac care within a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, medical terminology, and interventional procedures, contributing to improved patient outcomes at our state-of-the-art facility. This is a 13 week - Mon to Fri, 7:30 AM to 4 PM schedule Duties for Electrophysiology Tech Prepare and set up electrophysiology laboratories for diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly. Assist physicians during complex cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies by monitoring vital signs, recording physiological data, and maintaining sterile technique. Operate specialized imaging modalities such as sonography to assist in anatomical localization during procedures. Monitor patient vital signs continuously throughout procedures, ensuring stability and responding promptly to any changes. Maintain accurate documentation of procedural data, patient responses, and technical observations in compliance with hospital protocols. Support infection control practices by adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment within the cath lab. Assist with diagnostic evaluations related to interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, including arrhythmia mapping and ablation procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams experienced in interventional radiology, emergency medicine, and trauma care to optimize patient safety. Ensure proper handling of medical equipment used in high-acuity settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma environments. Experience for Electrophysiology Tech Completion of accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology or equivalent education required. Demonstrated knowledge of interventional radiology techniques, cardiac catheterization procedures, and physiology principles. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and interpretation of vital signs during complex procedures. RCES Credential or IBHRE Certification or RCIS Certification strongly preferred Knowledge of aseptic techniques, anatomy relevant to cardiac structures, and sonography is essential. Demonstrated experience in EP Lab devices and equipment Knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology required BLS and ACLS from AHA required #IND123

$70.00 - $74.00 per hour
