Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EMG (Electromyography) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in neurodiagnostic testing, including electromyography procedures, with a focus on patient care and diagnostic accuracy. As an EMG Technician, you will perform nerve conduction studies and electromyography assessments to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological and muscular conditions within a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) accurately according to established protocols. Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and obtaining informed consent. Monitor vital signs and assess patient responses throughout testing procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of test results, patient history, and procedural notes for review by medical staff. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of diagnostic equipment to guarantee optimal performance. Collaborate with neurologists, physiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results effectively. Adhere strictly to safety standards, infection control protocols, and medical terminology guidelines during all procedures. Requirements Proven experience performing electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS). Knowledge of neurocritical care principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to neuromuscular diagnostics. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring during diagnostic procedures. Prior experience working as EMG technecian. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to interpret diagnostic evaluation data accurately for clinical decision-making. Certification as an EMG Technician or equivalent credential is preferred. $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
