EEG TECH POSITION
WILLING
TO TRAIN ON THE JOB!
Medical background as a MA or tech would be a great fit for this position to further your career in the medical field. We have found that Sleep Techs make some good EEG Techs! Immediate openings for a fast-growing Diagnostic Testing Company. We are looking for registered and non-registered EEG Technologists. We are willing to train you on the job and your salary will progress based on your level of training. Duties:
The EEG Technologist performs in-home diagnostic testing on patients. The Technologist measures by means of international 10/20 system for EEG studies, to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of neurological disorders.
Job Responsibilities:
Complies with HIPPA regulations with regards to patient confidentiality. Must be able to travel up to 95%, drive to multiple locations throughout the state of Oklahoma, including out of state as necessary. The Oklahoma City Metro area will be the primary territory but there will be patients outside of this footprint. This position drives to wherever the patients are. You need to have a reliable vehicle. If you don't like to drive, then this position is not for you. Professionally communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals. Follows the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Operates and manages equipment, takes detailed accurate patient history on patients.
Job Requirements:
Techs that are registered (R.EEGT) through ABRET and an active member go to the front of the line and the top of the salary structure. CPR certified, if not we will train. Must possess a valid driver's license, automobile and proof of insurance. One year of experience in the field is preferred. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to pull, push and carry up to 50lbs. Must have strong communication skills, timely responses to requests from management, efficient effective outside the box suggestions for improvements.
Pay:
R.EEG Tech - $60-65K Unregistered - Start at $45k. As your tenure and productivity increases, compensation will as well. Health, dental, vision benefits. Plus monthly car allowance, gas card, iPhone, iPad, 401k after one year, plus quarterly bonuses.
