Patient Care Technician/EKG Technician Location:
Jackson, TN, 38305
Skills:
Patient Care Technician/EKG Technician Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. A Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing basic care to patients in a healthcare setting. They work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors to assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting patients. The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team, and have a strong desire to help others.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients Take vital signs and record patient information Collect specimens for testing Assist with medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team Strong desire to help others Ability to lift and move patients as needed Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
