Our mission is to make lifesaving specialty care accessible to all children with seizures and epilepsy, regardless of language proficiency, health insurance, or ability to pay. As a growing clinic, we are focused on enhancing our operations to better serve our patients and the community. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Entry-Level EEG Technician (Training provided) to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care to children with epilepsy and seizures.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level EEG Technician (Training provided) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in pediatrics, neurology, and patient-centered care. The candidate should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a clinical environment with children and families.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and performance of routine EEGs and related neurodiagnostic procedures Properly apply electrodes and monitor EEG recordings under supervision Support patients and families by providing clear explanations and ensuring comfort during procedures Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with practice policies and healthcare standards Collaborate with neurologists, clinical staff, and other technicians to ensure high-quality patient care Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Strong interest in pediatrics and neurology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a clinical environment Prior healthcare or patient care experience preferred Eagerness to pursue professional growth and continuous learning
