Summary:
Accountable for performing quality electroneurodiagnostic procedures through the application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care and in accordance with organization and department policy and procedures. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
Education:
High School degree or equivalent required. A graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training is preferred. Knowledgeable in pediatric EEGs preferred. Three years experience in medical field preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Registry-eligible by American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists is preferred. Basic Life Support certification is required. •This position is PRN, with the opportunity to work up to 36 hours a week•
