This position offers an exceptional way to grow as a professional by broadening your exposure within Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure. You'll leave with valuable new skills, greater confidence, and impressive additions to your resume. Schedule Monday through Friday; shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM One to two weeknight call shifts Every fourth weekend on call Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiology program (education verification required) AART registration Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License Registered Cardiovascular Technologist BLS and ACLS certifications Responsibilities Verify package integrity and expiration dates for all sterile supplies; prepare patient and equipment for sterile technique Prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization after procedures Monitor and record procedural data, maintain detailed event logs Provide patient comfort, clearly explain equipment and procedures, apply monitors, and prepare access sites Scrub in and maintain strict sterile technique for infection prevention Advocate and exercise radiation safety for self, patients, and coworkers—including dosimeter use and exposure minimization Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate reports to ensure established safety limits are met Benefits & Travel Perks Strengthen your career with tax-advantaged stipends, travel coordination, premium compensation, robust healthcare coverage, and the security of a 401(k) retirement plan.
