Job Description

Minimum 1+ years Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist experience and RCES or ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Responsibilities:
Verify integrity and expiration dates on sterile supplies. Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique. Document and maintain comprehensive procedural event logs. Provide patient comfort and education regarding EP procedures and equipment. Apply monitors, prepare access sites, and utilize sterile drapes as needed. Uphold aseptic and sterile practices when assisting in procedures for optimal infection prevention. Advocate for radiation safety, wear personal radiation dosimeter, and minimize exposure risks for all. Carefully document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses, confirming values adhere to safety limits. Prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization post-procedure.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiology program (education verification required) ARRT registered Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License (current) Registered Cardiovascular Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
