GED Full Job Description Work Schedule :
100 FTE%, 40 hours per week, day shift. Monday through Friday 10:00AM•6:30PM with rotating weekends and holidays. The weekend/holiday shifts will be evening shift 2:30PM•11:00PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an ECG Technician (Electrocardiogram Tech) : Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and apply various longer term ECG monitors (24hrs to 30 days) on patients. Opportunities to educate both adult and pediatric patients on testing procedures. Ensure that patients are positioned correctly, apply electrodes accurately, and assess the quality of ECG tracings. Opportunities to facilitate stress testing under the supervision of cardiologist, advanced practice providers or clinical exercise physiologist. Collaborate with all levels of clinical staff throughout the hospital. Gain valuable hands-on clinical experience while learning on the job.
