WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for EMTs, or someone who would like to become an EMT, with experience working with vulnerable populations and who enjoy serving and working for the public. Patience and compassion in working with Juneau's most vulnerable populations is essential. Capital City Fire Rescue has overseen the Community Health Division, previously known as the CARES program, for its seventh year now. While continuing to expand our scope to increasingly help our community, we are simultaneously providing training and opportunities to grow for our employees. The Community Health Division works as a team. We have a unique opportunity to help our community, help one another, and ourselves all at the same time. This position works 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM- 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM
- 8:00 AM.
- (Range 722) $22.55
- $25.28 per hour

Education:
High School graduation or valid GED certificate.Other:
Not less than 18 years of age at time of appointment. A valid Driver's License at time of appointment and for continued employment. Certification(s): Valid Emergency Trauma Technician Certification within four (4) weeks of appointment and for continued employment .- Certification as a State of Alaska Emergency Medical Technician I or higher within one year of appointment . Community Health EMT I (Range 724) $25.38
