Full Job Description Event EMS Role Duties:

Provide on-site emergency medical services at events, including patient assessment, first aid, basic life support as authorized, and coordination with local EMS and public safety agencies. Monitor crowds for medical issues, respond rapidly to incidents, document care provided, and maintain medical equipment readiness. Ensure a safe environment for attendees, staff, and performers while adhering to protocols and professional standards.

• Ability to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infection during medical procedures
• Knowledge of various medical equipment used in emergency and non-emergency situations
• Ability to provide compassionate and effective care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Understanding of the human body's structure and function to assess patients and administer appropriate treatment, if needed
• Basic life support: Proficiency in performing CPR, using automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and managing airways
• Vital signs monitoring: Proficiency in measuring and interpreting vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.

This position requires excellent communication skills, thorough patient care reporting, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
