LICENSED
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will transport patients to scheduled non-emergency appointments in ambulances on stretchers. EMT-Responder or EMT-Basic license required. Please do not apply if you do not have an EMT license.
Competitive pay:
$18 - $20/hr.

Role Description:
This is an on-site role as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Our EMTs provide stretcher transport service while ensuring the well-being of patients during pickup, transport and drop off.
Responsibilities:
Be honest, transparent, dedicated, and trustworthy. Patient- first attitude. Committed to excellence in safe stretcher transport. Ability to team lift unloaded and loaded stretcher several times daily. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner at all times. Assessment of patients, determine necessary care and provide services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Perform basic life support, as needed. Utilize medical terminology accurately to communicate effectively with healthcare team members. Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights. Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles. Hours may vary due to operational needs Drive throughout shifts on all types of roads Work in all types of weather Exposure to noise, vibrations, smells and fumes Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) knowledge Valid U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification Valid BLS certification EMT-Basic license required EMT-Responders and EMT-Advanced are encouraged to apply New EMT graduates at all levels are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience in non-emergency medical transportation is a plus Healthcare work experience preferred, not required. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Valid State Driver's License Driving record in compliance with company policy
