POSITION SUMMARY

Performs specialized life sustaining procedures in a hospital-based advance care ambulance service. Responsible for providing immediate emergency care and transport of the critically ill or injured under direction of medical control physician. Has successfully completed, as a minimum, the United States Department of Transportation's Emergency Medical Technician-Ambulance curriculum, passed the department's approved written and practical examinations and is currently certified as an

EMT. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Current EMS certification from the State of Iowa. BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment. Valid driver's license Current operational level Hazmat training within 1 year of onboarding.
