We are seeking a Medical Technician for our fast-paced elder care facility. An ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable using a variety of medical equipment, and have the ability to work with a team to provide high-quality patient care. Our Medical Technicians will also be required to assist other staff in the daily care of patients and general housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities:
Talk to patients to understand their problems. Document patient information. Follow all patient treatment and billing guidelines. Communicate with other healthcare providers. Follow infection control procedures. Document findings and communicate information to health care providers. Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of patient care and physiology
  • Experience with catheter care
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals
  • Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's
  • Compassionate care for seniors, hospice patients, and those with dementia
