The salary range for this position is $43,681 - $54,000 based on education and relevant work experience.

Duties:

Supervise and instruct high school students in knowledge and skills needed in medical emergencies Train students in clearing airway obstructions, controlling bleeding, bandaging, transporting injured persons, infection control, responding to cardiac arrest and legal and ethical responsibilities. Prepare students to take the Illinois EMT-B certification test

Qualifications:

Must have 2,000 hours of experience in emergency medical field Must have or obtain an Illinois teaching license for secondary education. The administration will assist you with obtaining the license. The license will be granted based on a combination of education and relevant work experience. An educational degree is NOT required.
