The salary range for this position is $43,681 - $54,000 based on education and relevant work experience.

School-paid retirement through the Illinois Teachers Retirement System School-paid $25,000 life insurance policy Paid time off - 11 sick days and 3 personal days per school year Work schedule closely follows area school calendars - work year is mid-August to late May Employees are paid semi-monthly throughout the entire year Option to participate in health, dental, vision, life, accident, cancer, critical care, and disability insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts or healthcare spending accounts. The school will contribute $750/month toward the school-sponsored health insurance plan. Option to participate in IEA-NEA Career Education Association unionDuties:
Supervise and instruct high school students in knowledge and skills needed in medical emergencies Train students in clearing airway obstructions, controlling bleeding, bandaging, transporting injured persons, infection control, responding to cardiac arrest and legal and ethical responsibilities. Prepare students to take the Illinois EMT-B certification testQualifications:
Must have 2,000 hours of experience in emergency medical field Must have or obtain an Illinois teaching license for secondary education. The administration will assist you with obtaining the license. The license will be granted based on a combination of education and relevant work experience. An educational degree is NOT required.EMT Basic License IDPH Lead Instructor Job Type:
