Job Description
Vanguard National Trailer is a premier manufacturer of dry van semi-trailers for North America. Vanguard National Trailer Corp. is the world's leading manufacturer of commercial transport dry container and trailer equipment with subsidiaries across the globe. We are seeking an Safety EMT for our Monon, IN facility. This is a 1st-shift position supporting the needs of approximately 150 full-time employees. EMT Responsibilities Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment Document patient information, condition, and treatment Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients Provide basic life support and gather patient data The selected candidate must be state-certified. (Must be at least an EMT-B) Must have current CPR/AED training Must have current driver's license Safety Responsibilities Assist doing classroom training with employees (hoist, forklift, ariel lift, LOTO) Assist with daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections and other projects as necessary Must be able to walk & stand for long periods Must be able to walk up and down stairs Bilingual a plus This position reports to the
