As an EMT you will provide essential Basic Life Support (BLS) care and safe medical transport in emergency and/or non-emergency environments. This role focuses on patient assessment, direct BLS treatment, operational readiness, and strong teamwork in support of Paramedics and other public safety partners. English Certification/Licensure Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification. Kentucky EMT certification in good standing Current National Registry certification

Current CPR:

BLS certification. Valid state specific Drivers' license.

FEMA IS certs:

(IS-100; IS-200; IS-700; IS-800)

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others.
