This position requires a dedicated individual who is skilled in emergency medicine and capable of making quick decisions under pressure. EMTs work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during transport to medical facilities, including Level I Trauma Centers. Duties Assess patients' conditions through thorough patient assessment and vital signs monitoring. Administer necessary medical interventions, including injections and medication administration. Perform venipuncture for blood draws as required. Manage airways and provide appropriate respiratory support when needed. Operate emergency vehicles safely while transporting patients to healthcare facilities. Collaborate with other medical personnel to provide comprehensive care during emergencies. Maintain equipment and ensure that all necessary supplies, including Durable Medical Equipment (DME), are available and in working order. Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with protocols. Qualifications Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is required. Experience administering injections and performing venipuncture is preferred. Strong knowledge of emergency medicine practices and protocols. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and vital signs monitoring. Ability to manage airways effectively in emergency situations. Experience working within a Level I Trauma Center environment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments, making it ideal for individuals passionate about emergency medical services. •Pay Range is based on a fixed - non rotating 48 hour work week over the course of 52 weeks. Additional overtime opportunities are available. Schedule subject to change throughout the year based on operational need. Base schedule is 12 hour shifts and can be anywhere from 36 to 48 hour work weeks depending on personal availability and scheduling needs.
