Job Description

Position Summary:
Provide on-site standby rescue for customer projects, including confined space and technical rope rescue services, and deliver first aid and CPR if necessary. Flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and extended hours, is required based on operational needs, along with the ability to travel as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Rescue Technician, you will assist in assessing risks, readying rescue equipment, and planning practical and effective solutions toward safe working practices in compliance with client's standards. In case of an incident, the Rescue Technician locates the patient, assesses any injuries, packages for extrication, removes patient from the threatening environment, and turns over to EMS for medical attention and transport.
Qualifications Preferred:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred Experience:
MFR, EMT-B, EMT-P
license, First Aid / CPR.
Required License:
Must have a current drivers license and good driving record to drive company vehicles.

Possess critical reasoning skills and the ability to apply them effectively in stressful situations. Display confidence and accept the challenge and high degree of responsibility entailed in this position. Demonstrate effective communication (verbal, written, and listening) and interpersonal skills.
Interpersonal Communication:
Verbal communication and interpersonal skills are used constantly. Must adapt to situations that may involve emotional instability and in multicultural settings. Share opinions, ideas, and resources with others to achieve common goals.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must lift or push/pull objects of up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Work Environment:
Industrial settings, Auto production plants, refinery, steel mills, chemical plants, automotive manufacturing plants, hydrocarbon fuel plants, construction sites and energy plants.
