EMT - EMT - Full Time

Responsible for driving the ambulance and assisting the Paramedic in providing basic life support functions. The EMT provides basic life support to patients and assists Emergency personnel after reaching the hospital. Experienced preferred. Principal Duties and Responsibilities MS State certification as EMT with EMS training equal to or exceeding national registry standards required Valid MS emergency drivers license Must have a valid CPR card In event of census change, staffing changes or other circumstances, accepts and performs subordinate roles and alternated assignments within scope of practice to meet the needs of the hospital Demonstrates professional behavior and interpersonal skills to reflect the Mission and Vision statement of CCH Perform other duties as assigned Is physically able to perform assigned duties Complies with the hospital and departmental safety guidelines Complies with the infection control and universal precaution guidelines Demonstrates professional behavior and interpersonal skills to reflect the Mission and Vision statement of CCH Physically able to perform job responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned
