(Department of Transportation) regulations Freight Electric pallet jack Full Job Description Class A Driver•Medical Supply Delivery (Urgent Opening) Durham NC $30/hour + Overtime After 40 Hours Full-Time | Temporary Assignment (Through End of May•Potential Extension) Immediate Hiring Need We are seeking a reliable and professional Class A Driver for an urgent opening in Durham, NC. This position is covering a leave of absence through the end of May, with the possibility of extension if needed. The client is ready to bring someone on ASAP. Schedule & Flexibility Approximately 40 hours per week Overtime available after 40 hours if applicable Driver must be flexible with start times and equipment: 3:00 AM start operating a tractor-trailer 6:00 AM start operating a box truck Job Duties Deliver medical supplies and equipment to customers safely and professionally Operate an electric pallet jack for touch freight deliveries Ensure all products are delivered accurately and on time Maintain excellent communication regarding delays or route updates Input delivery and route information correctly into company systems/cell phone applications Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive customer relationships Follow all DOT and company safety regulations Requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 5 years Experience using an electric pallet jack required Experience handling touch freight deliveries preferred Ability to operate both a tractor-trailer and box truck as needed Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and dependable attendance Must pass a road test Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, flexible, and customer-oriented.
