Job Summary:
The Paramedic will provide emergency medical care and transportation for patients. This position will also perform departmental duties for CarolinaEast Health System, EMS department, and the EMS manager. High school diploma or equivalent. Current North Carolina Paramedic credential. Have and maintain a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of North Carolina. Any personnel operating a CarolinaEast owned ambulance must have a minimum of three years' driving experience. Ability to drive an ambulance safely and efficiently. Successful completion of Emergency Vehicle Drive (EVD) course within one year of hire. Maintenance of EVD certification; required EVD refresher course every two years. One year experience at the Paramedic level preferred. CurrentAHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
