Overview:
Legacy EMS is looking for skilled and dedicated Paramedics to join our team at Holloman Air Force Base! This role offers the chance to work in a crucial and high-impact environment, providing top-tier medical care to military personnel and their families. With multiple shift options available, you can find a schedule that fits your lifestyle while serving those who serve our nation. Uniforms provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver emergency medical care during various situations, including trauma, injuries, and medical emergencies. Administer advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) procedures, including medication administration and airway management. Conduct patient triage and make critical decisions in high-pressure scenarios. Work collaboratively with military medical teams and civilian emergency responders. Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles. Accurately document patient information and treatment details. Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay updated with medical protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, security clearance process, physical, and screenings. Advanced medical certification preferred. Current EMT-P (Paramedic) certification from a state and national agency. Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to perform effectively under stress and make quick, informed decisions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience in a military or high-risk environment is advantageous but not required.
