A Path Into Emergency Medical Services Through Spirit EMS Scholarship Program Spirit EMS offers a unique opportunity for individuals to begin a career in emergency medical services (EMS) while earning a wage during training. This scholarship program allows you to "earn as you learn" — attending paid EMT classes at one of their education centers. The curriculum runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a focus on hands-on learning and real-world preparedness. After completing the course and passing the National Registry exam, successful candidates are offered full-time positions with Spirit EMS, including paid on-the-job training. For those who qualify, Spirit EMS also supports housing and transportation assistance, and scholarships help remove financial barriers to entry.
