EMT Basic, Advanced and Paramedic Dalia Ambulance Service Houston, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15 - $19 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Qualifications Vital signs EMT Certification High school diploma or GED Driver's License Paramedic License Critical care experience Aseptic technique Hospital experience EMT-B Full Job Description Here at Dalia we have a wide range of duties that we provide daily for the Community and surrounding areas, this includes transporting of patients to and from their destinations, stand by for events (ranging from football games to car racing) and even Community out reach events. For us patient care is the top priority so we look for individuals who strive to put the patients first when it comes to service. We keep a very laid back environment here, and are looking for those who are interested in working as such. Daily duties include, Inspecting the unit you are assigned to insuring all supplies and equipment are in working order, receiving calls through dispatch (text or tablet), transporting all patients in a safe manor to and from their destinations, monitoring vital signs of all patients to ensure their well being, receiving report and giving report to appropriate nurses, able to coordinate with hospital staff when dropping off a patient, must be able to write or enter a run report onto tablet or a physical copy (which ever you prefer) We are looking for individuals that are highly motivated, team players and have great social skills. Must be able to life 50< Lbs. Must be knowledgeable of roles and responsibilities set forth by the state of Texas depending upon certification level.
