Description EMT Basic The EMT-Basic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT-Basic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Texas Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License

• Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or Texas Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License
• Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License
