• B with Evoc
• Current valid State of Virginia EMT-B certification
• Current valid Virginia drivers license (class endorsement)
• Good driving record
• Emergency Vehicle Operations Course
• Must possess physical agility necessary to lift and move patients safely
• Must be neat and clean at all times
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have temperament to deal professionally with disabled, disadvantaged, sick and injured persons Do you possess; A current valid State of Virginia EMT-B certification ONLY
• Evoc course can be taken with Cardinal
• EMT's without Evoc are encouraged to apply New shift availability; If you desire to work a mid to evening shift 14:00-20:00, you are encouraged to apply.
• Shift differential available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDES

• Patient assessment, treatment and transport
• Verbal and hard copy patient reports
• Daily vehicle inspection and equipment/supply checklist
• Cleaning and basic maintenance of vehicles (inside and outside)
• Safely lifting and moving patients onto and off of the stretcher and in and out of the ambulance
• Familiarization of geographical area and use of maps
• Utilization of radio communication equipment
• Knowledge of and adherence to

PEMS BLS

Protocols

• Standby and on-call
• Adherence to standard operating procedures
