ER Technologist Job Summary:

The ER Technologist plays a crucial role in the emergency department by providing support to medical professionals and assisting in patient care. They are responsible for performing various technical and supportive tasks to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the emergency room.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist medical professionals in assessing, treating, and monitoring emergency department patients Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and performing ECGs Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures and treatments Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met Document patient information accurately in medical records Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures Provide emotional support to patients and their families during stressful situations

Qualifications and Skills:
