Patient Care Technician-Emergency Department

Overview Shift:

Full-time, Nights 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, for 72 hours per pay period. There is a holiday and a every third weekend rotation. Make a difference when every second counts. Our Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our fast-paced, highly skilled team. As a vital member of our ER, you will provide hands-on patient care, support clinical staff, and help ensure the safety and comfort of patients during critical moments. Perform vital signs, EKGs, blood glucose checks, and specimen collection. Support nurses and physicians with patient care procedures. Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with daily living activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment. Document patient information accurately and promptly.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma/GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma/GED Prefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the

Iowa Direct Care Registry Certification/License:
