Job Description:
Schedule:
40 hours/week; Shifts available 3:00pm
  • 11:30pm or 11:00pm
  • 7:30am, w/rotating weekends and holidays Supports nursing staff with patient care tasks.
Maintains clean and orderly patient rooms. Aids with movement and placement of patients. Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living. Reports findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records accurately and timely. Monitors and reports patient conditions. Ensures proper functioning and maintenance of medical equipment. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Follows safety and infection control protocols. Participates in training and development activities. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
  • 1+ applicable PCT experience
  • Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) [Required] OR
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required] OR
  • Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) [Required]
