AM Job Description:

Come join our Emergency Department team and be a part of helping others! Our Unit Clerk is a vital part of the Emergency Department with great attendance, communication and organizational skills a must.

Duties include:

receiving incoming calls, paging physicians and other departments, entering ED Admits into "Bed Board", order entry, managing the medical record through scanning and filing, managing a daily physician on-call roster, inputting physician charges, maintaining the nurse's station, stocking forms, monitoring refrigerator temperatures, and maintaining the patient nourishment area. Previous Unit Clerk experience is required for this position. There is also an opportunity with advanced training to monitor telemetry and perform drug screens in the E.D. A hospital and department orientation is required upon hire. We welcome all motivated applicants!
