March 11, 2026 Job Overview Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, VA is hiring an ED Tech for the Emergency Department.

36 Weekly scheduled hours
Rotating Weekends Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Requirements:
EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire OR Successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School, qualified MMAC candidates OR Current student enrolled in clinical program (e.g., RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy) having completed at least one semester within the program. As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) with Sentara, you can work in either inpatient or outpatient Emergency Department settings. This role is a great gateway to begin your career in the medical field. This position's primary responsibilities include lab draws, EKGs, and assisting the nurses and doctors with patient care. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.
