Jo b Responsibilities Assist surgeons in multidisciplinary procedures Assemble supplies and equipment for scheduled GI procedures Aid in room turnovers, patient positioning, and preparing for following day cases Inspect equipment and instruments for proper working condition Maintain availability of instruments and supplies to avoid delays Correctly use, care for, and sterilize instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed Extensive ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to applicable procedures Assist in storing and stocking supplies in the procedure rooms Required Education High school diploma or GED Certification Endoscopy Certification SGNA recognized preferred Qualifications and Skills GI or ASC experience, 2 years preferred Familiarity with procedural instruments and equipment Ability to sit/stand for long periods; ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
