Glendale, California 13 Weeks Contract Assignment Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to join its highly respected GI Lab team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading 515-bed Magnet-designated healthcare organization known for clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong GI procedural experience with a must-have skill set in ERCP procedures and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in patient safety, scope processing, and endoscopy support services. Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented and dependable Experienced with endoscope reprocessing and sterilization Comfortable in fast-paced procedural environments Team-oriented with strong communication skills Passionate about patient-centered care Key Responsibilities Assist gastroenterologists and nursing staff during GI procedures Prepare and clean endoscopy procedure rooms Perform endoscope cleaning, disinfection, testing, and storage according to policy Support ERCP and advanced GI procedures Handle specimen collection and sterilization monitoring Maintain quality assurance and biological monitoring processes Ensure compliance with universal precautions and hazardous materials protocols Transport patients safely between departments Assist with inventory management and supply tracking Contribute to departmental performance improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required Associate's/Technical Degree preferred Experience GI Lab and/or Operating Room experience preferred ERCP experience
REQUIRED
Certifications Current BLS/CPR Certification required #Workwolf
