1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Senior Endoscopy Technician with 3+ years of GI/Endo experience and strong scope reprocessing skills for a day-shift position at an outpatient endoscopy center in Mission Hills, CA. Details Outpatient, standalone endoscopy center in Mission Hills, CA 3-room GI/Endo unit working alongside 3 Gastroenterologists Monday-Friday, 7:00-15:30; no weekends, holidays, or on-call Daily procedure volume of 34-36 patients per day Patient population consists of ASA Class 1, 2, and 3 patients Procedures include upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, PEG placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, and X-track Scope experience required: colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes Preferred equipment includes Olympus CV-190 processor, CLV-190 light source, 190-series scopes, CO2 insufflator, Erbe cautery/ESU, Olympus OER Pro, and Erbe HLD reprocessor Epic EMR experience required; ProVation experience preferred Parking paid by facility Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in an endoscopy center or GI lab SGNA education/program completion OR CST certification with 3 years of endoscopy experience required Current BLS certification required Strong scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection (HLD) skills required Experience with Epic EMR required License required if applicable Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Additional Information Perform GI procedures including upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, PEG placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, and X-track Responsible for high-level disinfection of procedural equipment and scope reprocessing Back table setup and room setup experience preferred Work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff in a team-oriented environment Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Local candidates are accepted Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all RTO requests should be disclosed upfront Scrub color to be confirmed upon placement
