10 hour shifts
Assignment Length:
13 weeks GI Tech for community hospital. Patient base includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Omnicell med system, Meditech Expanse
EMR, SBAR
communication. Provider support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, respiratory services, social services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Provider coverage includes Intensivist, Hospitalist, and Anesthesiologist. 2 years experience
REQUIRED.
No first time travelers. Weekends required (as needed per census). Call required (1 weekend + 5 weekday nights per mo). Scrubs provided. Certifications
REQUIRED
BLS Certifications preferred: SGNA Skills/Experience
REQUIRED
Colonoscopy; EGD; ERCP; Infection Control; Sterilization/Disinfection; Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure Skills/Experience preferred: Inpatient; Outpatient Endoscopy center; Dilators; Electrosurgical units; Endoscopes; ERBE (portable) (electrical coagulation instrument); Fluoroscopy equipment (C-arm, monitor, beds); Polyp snares; Washer/sterilizer; Assist with biopsies; Procedure set up; Colonoscopes; EGD scopes; Endoscopic Ultrasound Scopes (EUS); Enteroscopes; ERCP Scopes; Fiber Optics; Flex Sigmoidoscopes; High-Level Disinfection (HLD); Closing of room at end of day; Instrument processing and cleaning; Restocking room supplies; Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS); Esophageal foreign body removal; Stenting (Esophageal/Duodenal/Colonic); Restock room supplies; Restock supply room carts •
