Endoscopy/GI Tech

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Endoscopy/GI Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will support physicians and nursing staff during advanced endoscopic procedures and ensure proper handling, cleaning, and processing of endoscopy equipment in a fast-paced procedural environment. Responsibilities Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopy and advanced GI procedures (polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, dilations) Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper equipment setup Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain endoscopy equipment Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopic instruments according to protocol Transport patients and assist with ambulation and dressing as directed Apply EKG monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures Stock procedure rooms and maintain inventory of supplies Participate in rotating on-call schedule and holiday coverage Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience required Active Colorado DORA Surgical Tech Registration required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Must live at least 75 miles from facility (travel requirement) Preferred SGNA Associates or Advanced Associates Program IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification

Pay:

$1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
