Endoscopy Technician

Endoscopy Tech, Full time USPI Capital City Surgery Center of Florida located in Tallahassee, Florida, is an advanced technology Endoscopy Suite specializing in the examination of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. Procedures are done in a comfortable outpatient setting, designed with high quality of care, safety and patient privacy and convenience in mind.

Job Summary:

The Endoscopy Tech assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

High School Diploma/GED 2+ years' experience in established endoscopy center Must have working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures.
