Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Endoscopy Tech, you'll play a critical role in supporting gastroenterologists and nurses during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred Completion of an Endoscopy Technician or Sterile Processing program preferred BLS certification (required) Minimum of 1 year of recent Endoscopy Tech experience in a hospital or outpatient setting Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Endoscopy Technician Contract Details:
$1,600 - $1,783 per week• estimated weekly 13 week contract, with possibility to extend 40 per week Setting -
Hospital Key Responsibilities:
Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies Handle specimens and maintain accurate labeling/documentation Operate, clean, and maintain endoscopy instruments and equipment Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures Follow infection control protocols and maintain compliance with hospital standards
