Summary:
The Sterile Supply Technician II role is responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment. Participates in selection of safe and effective supplies and equipment to achieve optimal patient outcomes Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications:
Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred or may be required within 24 months of start date based on location.
Experience:
One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Sterile Supply Technician I role.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
Competent and proficient in decontamination of at least three technical areas.
