Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician (Endo Tech) for a 13-week assignment in the Endoscopy Unit. The Endo Tech will assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures while ensuring procedure rooms, scopes, and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist medical and nursing staff during endoscopy procedures Prepare and stock endoscopy rooms prior to procedures Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and calibrate scopes and endoscopic instruments according to facility and manufacturer standards Prepare procedure suites/rooms based on endoscopic case requirements Set up, scrub, and assist during procedures, including specimen collection Perform equipment safety checks and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment as needed Maintain inventory of endoscopy equipment and supplies Assist with patient positioning and transportation as directed by medical staff Perform clerical duties including supply ordering, inventory tracking, logs, and patient information entry Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and hazardous waste protocols

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of Endo Tech experience

• Required BLS Certification (AHA)

  $1,950.00
