The Endoscopy Technician plays a vital role in preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to advancing patient care through technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques, contributing to efficient and safe endoscopic practices. Responsibilities Prepare endoscopic equipment and supplies, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and functioning correctly prior to procedures. Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations by handling instruments, managing equipment, and providing necessary support. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures, responding promptly to any changes or concerns. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure a sterile environment. Document procedure details accurately in patient records, including observations, equipment used, and any anomalies encountered. Support post-procedure activities such as cleaning, sterilizing equipment, and restocking supplies. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate diagnostic evaluations by providing technical assistance and ensuring optimal imaging quality. Stay informed about advancements in endoscopic technology and techniques to continually improve procedural efficiency.
MUST HAVE
BLS (AHA)
CST or SPD Certificate Benefits:
Benefits are provided as per state laws like medical as per ACA guidelines after 2 months from start date. In Addition to it 401k after 12 months and a 4% salary match+ sick leaves as per state laws) Paid through Paychex every week on a Friday.
Shift Timings:
Days/Night (8 hours) Weekly schedule: 40 hrs./week HC1
Pay:
$28.00 - $31.00 per hour
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Required) CST or SPD Certificate (Required)
