Endoscopy Technician Apprentice

Join CentraCare St Cloud's Endoscopy team as a Endoscopy Technician Apprentice! As an apprentice you will spend the next 12 months learning the detailed procedures of an Endoscopy Technician at both the St Cloud Hospital and CentraCare Plaza. Once the apprenticeship is complete, you'll move into the next level for the position. You'll work side-by-side with doctors and nurses and actively participate in endoscopies, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies and other procedures. Patients will need you to be their coach while they undergo some procedures. An Endoscopy Technician is a wonderful first step toward a career in health care. Doctors and nurses often begin as Endo Techs. You'll also keep patients safe and mitigate infection by performing high-level disinfecting and maintenance on a variety of scopes. You'll succeed faster in this role if you have previous healthcare experience and know anatomy and medical terminology (especially related to gastroenterology). Still, we can train you if you don't already have this knowledge. Schedule Part-time | 32-48 hours every two weeks | Onsite Monday-Friday varying 9-hour daytime shifts Every 4th weekend, 2-3 holidays per year Off-premises on-call 3-5 times per month with a 45-minute response time Shifts will be scheduled at both St Cloud Hospital & CentraCare Plaza Pay and Benefits The pay for the apprenticeship is: $21.00 per hour
