Job role and responsibilities:
Endoscopy Tech supports the safe and efficient execution of endoscopic procedures, prepares equipment and patients, assists physicians during procedures, and ensures proper sterilization and documentation of scopes and supplies. This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in stressful environments.
Qualifications and skills required:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for those who completed a Surgical Technologist Program and hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The position is reported to the Endoscopy Manager and is non-exempt under FLSA.
