Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Endoscopy Technician, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures. In this energetic and fast-paced position, you will assist physicians by preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, and supporting patients through their procedures. Your dedication will help facilitate smooth operations and positive patient experiences in a collaborative clinical setting. Responsibilities Prepare endoscopic instruments and equipment, ensuring all tools are properly sterilized, functioning correctly, and ready for use. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by passing instruments, managing equipment, and monitoring patient comfort. Support patient positioning and comfort before, during, and after procedures, providing reassurance and clear instructions. Clean, disinfect, and store endoscopy equipment following strict infection control protocols after each use. Document procedure details accurately in patient records and report any equipment malfunctions or procedural issues promptly. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes. Experience Prior experience working as an Endoscopy Technician or in a similar clinical support role within a healthcare environment is preferred. Knowledge of endoscopic equipment operation, sterilization techniques, and infection control standards is highly desirable. Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and ability to assist during complex procedures. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with medical staff and provide compassionate support to patients. Certification as an Endoscopy Technician or related healthcare certification is a plus but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates. Pay:
$24.09 - $27.01 per hour
