Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Preparation of the endoscopy room and equipment before an endoscopy/colonoscopy procedure Performs cleaning and high level disinfection of the gastroscope equipment Cleans and disinfects endoscopy equipment and work areas Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic technique Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilization services performed per facility protocol
Requirements:
Applicants must be fast-paced and proficient with cleaning and high level disinfection of Olympus endoscopes using Medivators Automatic Endoscope Reprocessor (DSD-Edge & Scope Buddy) Certification as an Endoscopy Technician / CRCST / CSPD Experience working in an endoscopy unit or similar healthcare setting is a requirement Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be responsible and reliable American Heart Association current BLS certification preferred Shifts available include 3-4 days per week, Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 am•2:00 pm.
