Endoscopy Technician - Full TimeUpper West Side Endoscopy | New York, NY Join a team that values quality, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Upper West Side Endoscopy is seeking an experienced and dependable Endoscopy Technician to join our busy ambulatory surgery center. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and take pride in supporting physicians, nurses, and patients throughout the procedural process, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with GI and endoscopy, experience who is looking for a stable weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays. What You'll Be Doing Support physicians during GI procedures. Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case. Manage specimen handling, documentation and transport. Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies throughout the department. Help troubleshoot and maintain endoscopy equipment. Promote a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment. Participate in department meetings, training, and quality improvement activities. Follow all infection prevention, safety, and OSHA requirements. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Current BLS certification Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred One or more years of experience in endoscopy, or a related healthcare setting. Familiarity with endoscope reprocessing and infection control practices. Experience handling endoscopy equipment and accessories. Why Work With Us?
