Responsibilities Prepare endoscopy equipment and supplies, ensuring all instruments are sterile and functioning correctly for each procedure Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations by handling scopes, biopsies, and other specialized tools with precision Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections and uphold infection control protocols throughout procedures Document procedural details and equipment usage accurately in medical records Support diagnostic evaluation by preparing patients, explaining procedures, and providing post-procedure care instructions Requirements Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy related to the gastrointestinal system Familiarity with medical terminology used in endoscopic procedures and patient care documentation Proficiency in aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures Ability to interpret basic diagnostic data and assist in evaluating findings under physician supervision Prior experience or training as an endoscopy technician or in a similar clinical support role is preferred but not mandatory Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with your team and educate patients about procedures This rewarding role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert technical support and compassionate care.
