Full-Time GI Technician Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center At Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center, GI Techs play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate gastrointestinal care. Position Overview:
The GI Technician plays a vital role in supporting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with GI procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper function and sterilization Support physicians and nurses Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after procedures Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols Stock and organize supplies to ensure a well-prepared procedure room
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Experience:
Demonstrated longevity in past roles preferred (stability and reliability are highly valued) Previous experience as a GI Tech or Endoscopy Tech (preferred) Knowledge of sterile processing and medical equipment handling (preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment Why Join Us?
