This role focuses on delivering safe, engaging, and resident-centered fitness programming for older adults across a full continuum of care—while building meaningful relationships and supporting overall wellbeing in a vibrant senior living community.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Resident Wellness Support Deliver individualized and group exercise programs designed to support strength, balance, mobility, and overall wellbeing Provide instruction, cueing, and demonstrations to ensure safe and effective movement Build positive, respectful relationships with residents while promoting confidence and independence Observe resident response to activity and communicate any concerns to the Wellness team Program Delivery & Group Activities Lead or support group fitness classes and wellness programming Prepare and maintain equipment and spaces to ensure safety and accessibility Adapt programming to meet varying functional levels and health conditions Collaboration & Documentation Partner with Wellness staff and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care goals Complete basic documentation and wellness tracking accurately and in a timely manner Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field required ACSM certification or equivalent preferred CPR certification required Minimum 1 year of experience in fitness, wellness, or related field (experience with older adults preferred) Strong understanding of safe exercise practices and functional fitness Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams
